“Lane Miles Program”

Our employees and the public’s safety have always been Laney’s Companies’ top concern. We strive to eliminate or reduce the risk of injuries and property damage. Laney Companies adopted the Lane Miles program in 2017 to motivate and recognize our employees who perform their jobs safely and effectively.
 
When am I eligible?
You will be eligible to earn points if you are employed for a full quarter, from January to March. -1 st Qtr., April-June-2 nd Qtr., July-September- 3 rd Qtr., and October-December-4 th Qtr.
 
How many Lane Miles will I earn quarterly?
Eligible employees will earn Lane Miles as listed:
• 1500 – Foreman & Drivers operating Lowboys, Dump, Water, Sweeper Trucks, and Road Mechanics
• 1000 – All other qualified Field, Shop, Plant, or Yard personnel
 
How does it work?
You will earn your quarterly points during the following periods:
1 st Qtr. – Jan-Mar, 2nd Qtr. – Apr-June, 3rd Qtr. July-Sept- 3 rd Qtr., 4 th Qtr. Oct-Dec.-4 th Qtr. Based on specific criteria, additional points will be awarded or deducted throughout the quarter. You will receive an email when your Lane Miles have been uploaded to your account.
 
What happens to my Lane Mile points once they are deposited into my Lane Mile Account?
Once Lane Miles have been deposited into your account, they are yours to keep or use throughout your employment.
 
What can I order with my points?
Jackets, Shirts, Sweatshirts, Coveralls, Duffle Bags, Lunch Boxes, Safety Gear, and Gift cards are available at the Lane Mile website. Different color options are available, as well as other logos associated with the Laney Companies.
Effective June 10, 2025, you will be limited to purchasing $100.00 worth of gift cards per year.
 
Work Boot reimbursement – You can use your Lane Mile points toward boot reimbursement. Submit a paid receipt for a pair of work boots, and you will be reimbursed up to $150.00 via ACH to your bank account. This can be done through the Lane Mile website.
 
How do I log on and place an order?
Go to www.mtlaney.com. Go to the bottom of the website and click on Lane Miles login. On the login page, click “Employee Log In/Account Information.” Enter your last four digits of your Social Security number as your employee number and your date of birth (MMDDYYYY). Click the login button. Click Shop by Logo and select which Laney Company logo you want on your merchandise, or click All Items to see what’s available. Click the select options under the picture. Select your size, color, logo, quantity, and click add to cart. Once you have completed shopping, click ‘View Cart’ and then click the ‘Apply Discount’ button in the upper right-hand corner to use your points. A box will appear, asking if you want to apply points. Click ok. Click Proceed to payment and enter your name, address, and email address. Click ‘Place Order,’ and you will receive an email with your order details for your records.
 
How long will it take to get my order?
Clothing orders will usually be delivered within 4-6 weeks to the Laney Company’s Corporate office, unless they are on backorder. You will be contacted when your order has arrived, so you can plan to pick it up. If your items are delivered directly to your home, you will be charged a shipping fee.

How do points get added or deducted?
